Hello.
My name is Shubham Arya. I am a junior at the University of Texas at Arlington majoring in computer science. This website is made by me as a way for me to display my talents, interests, hobbies and projects. Developing mobile applications and website are some of my favorite hobbies. Apart from this, I love watching and playing cricket. I am also a big fan of The Office and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and I can watch them on a loop all day long. My all time favorite food are biryani and butter chicken. Lastly, I like to constantly work on something, and checking things off THE list is my biggest motivation. I am my biggest critic and I constantly work on improving my skills and refining the applications I write.
I was born in New Delhi, India. I stayed in Gurgaon, Haryana for the first 10 years of my life where I studied at Delhi Public School, Gurgaon. My family then moved to Chennai, Tamil Nadu and we stayed there for another 9 years. In Chennai, I studied at Vaels International School, ECR and The PSBB Millennium School, OMR. In 12th grade, I gave the SATs and got accepted by the University of Texas at Arlington where I am currently studying.

I started coding in the junior year of my high school where I started learning the C++. In the freshman year at college, I learned Java and C, and in the sophomore year I learned Python. In summer of 2020, I started learnig swift to learn iOS development. Currently, I have about 5 years of experience in programming.
Databases
SQL, MySQL, SQLite
My first experience with anything related to databaase was with SQL back in the senior year of highschool. Since then, I have worked with databases like Firebase Firestore and MySQL Workbench to perform databse functionality. I have also used SQLite in my mobile applications to store users' data using CoreData.
User Interface and Experience
HTML, CSS, Swift, Xcode Storyboards
Having designed 2 mobile applications and this website, I understand the basic concepts of user interface and user experience to provided the users the best experience when using my product. I am familar with HTML and CSS which I used to design this website. I used the Xcode storyboard and swift to design my apps.

I have experience with different tools like MS Office, photo and video editors like iMovies and Procreate, database tools like MySQL Workbench, networking tool like WireShark, and software developing tools like GitHub that I have either learned in college or through my experience with software development.
