What you think,
you become.
Hello, I'm Shubham.
About Me
As a computer scientist, I aspire to build applications that millions of people can use to make the world a more sustainable, habitable, and happier place to live.
In 22 years, I have had the pleasure to learn many things, meet extraordinary people, and travel around the world. This website captures a fraction of my work and experiences that should help you to know me better.
I am no prodigy, but I am someone who is inspired easily. I look at things that fascinate me, and I get motivated to do something better than that. I have this innate quality to learn a concept rapidly and then apply that to practical use. For instance, I was motivated to develop apps that people could use globally. Within two months, I accomplished this feat when I pushed my first app on the App Store.
While I have had my fair share of success, I don't mind occasional failures. I believe that failures improve a person that makes them a better problem solver for the future. When I encounter such difficult situations, I have a greater drive to succeed. For example, after I had to decline an internship from Apple due to coronavirus in the summer of 2021, I was impelled to create my third app, through which I gained some advanced skills that I may not have otherwise.
This website is the story of my life. Please reach out to me if you like my work and have ideas to share!
Work & Education
May 2020 - Present
iOS Engineer
Independent developer
I have published three applications on the App Store that have over 40,000 downloads from all around the world. I have gotten good with programmatic interfaces with UIKit to make a complicated and useable interface for my apps. I strive to update my current apps and build more apps in the future to keep my users satisfied.
Through Hand Cricket, I understood the fundamentals of app development. I practiced these skills in Sortify: Pocket Planner, and learned a wider variety of topics. I mastered completely programmatic UI with Money-Wise as well as apply advanced concepts.

UTA Libraries
Student Assistant
- Assisted patrons with research topics, articles and directing them to correct resources in the library database.
- Resolved technical issues with hardware and software to maintain smooth functioning.
- Managed library database to keep them updated for patron security and satisfaction.
The learning I received through this position is invaluable to me. Soft skills like time management, team collaboration, and problem solving were something I had to deal with on a day-to-day basis. This experience gave me a new perspective on how customers think.

University of Texas - Arlington
Bachelor Degree
- Majoring in computer science
- GPA: 3.831 / 4.0
- Maverick academic scholarship recipient
The education I received from UTA has set me for my professional career. The assignments, projects, and examinations for courses tested my knowledge of the subject, and I did exceptionally well with grades. Apart from being on the Dean's List regularly, I have gained the international exposure and independence that I would not get back in India.

The PSBB Millennium School
High School
- 10th grade CGPA: 10.0 / 10.0
- 12th grade final percentage: 92.8%
- Courses: Math, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, English
The experience I received from here was crucial to establish my skills. I represented the school in cricket, football, and table tennis in which I also led the teams. My educational goals took off from here which is reflected in my grades. I was one of the few people to get a perfect 10 / 10 CGPA in 10th, and the second highest scorer in school in 12th grade in the computer science branch.
Skills
After studying computer science for 6 years, these are the skills I have mastered.
Programming
I have worked in over seven different programming languages for numerous projects and assignments. I have excelled in Swift, Python, C, and C++ the most. The language I like to work on the most is Swift as it allows readability. However, I have 5+ years of experience in C++ as it was the first language I learned.
Database
My first experience with the database was with SQL in my senior year of high school. Since then, I have worked with databases like Firebase Firestore and MySQL to perform database functionality for projects. I have also used SQLite in my mobile applications to store users' data using the native CoreData framework.
UI / UX Design
Having designed three mobile applications and this website, I understand the user interface and user experience concepts that provide the users the best experience. I am familiar with HTML and CSS that I used to design this website. I like to design my apps programmatically with frameworks like UIKit and swiftUI.
Get In Touch
I enjoy working with people who love what they do. I would be glad to collaborate on ideas or project for someone who strive for bigger things. Let's work together and build something awesome!
